Benefits to teaching & learning and/or pedagogy *SocrativeEnables teachers to engage and assess their students through the use of real time questioning on tablets, laptops and smartphones. Feedback is immediate as student results populate the teachers screen as they submit answers giving in the moment understanding of how a lesson is going. Bank of questions (which can be created in advance) can be used to see if lesson objectives have been reached. Saves teachers time so the class can further collaborate, discuss, extend and grow as a community of learners. Variety of report types are available: whole class overview, student specific results or question by question breakdown.  These can be viewed online, downloaded, emailed or delivered to Google Drive and used to inform and plan future sessions. Socrative is available for all web-browsers, iOS apps, Android apps, Chrome Apps, Kindle Apps or Windows app, making it accessible for all educational technology settings.   iMovieRecording dance and drama performances allows for immediate review and feedback. Also used for reflection by students which is then uploaded to YouTube/Blog. iMovie is a very versatile app which is also used for content creation, presentation and building evidence.   QuickClass (used a link to Google Classroom)Teachers are able to create and collect assignments paperlessly, instantly seeing who has or hasn't completed the work and provide direct, real-time feedback and grades. Students can keep track of what’s due on the Assignments page and begin working with just a click. Teachers can make use of time-saving features like the ability to automatically make a copy of a Google Document for each student. It also creates Drive folders for each assignment and for each student to help keep everyone organised. All class materials are automatically filed into folders in Google Drive. EndFragment

eLearning at Lewisham Southwark College
Lewisham College is committed to continue to lead the way and engage with innovative practices aiming to integrate technology effectively into our everyday practice.
Lewisham College has a great track record as being one of the very first colleges in London to embrace the use of technology to enhance and innovate teaching and learning. Since 2000 the College has worked collaboratively with other colleges, universities and funding bodies (JISC, LSIS, British Council), to share experience and best practice in the implementation of eLearning technologies across the sector.
This SNACKS site will be available soon
The resources will give participating training organisations a valuable set of tools to supplement face to face training time, which is limited. Resources can be used for revision or to catch up on missed sessions, which will assist trainees who are struggling to keep up, and to learn new skills which are relevant to but not part of their core syllabus through international speciality dishes which will stretch and challenge more able students, including online activities to test their knowledge of each section.
